Lunch will be provided each day of camp for all Full Day campers. Make sure to indicate food allergies on your registration. Half Day campers will need to make their own lunch arrangements.
It is suggested that campers bring plenty of water or sports drinks with them to camp, as well as snacks. There will be water and sports drinks provided at lunch to the students as well as some small snacks available for those that need them.
Twirlers should wear practice appropriate attire each day, which means snug fitting with proper support/coverage, and full range of motion. Make sure to check out the daily theme days when packing! Also, please bring both indoor and outdoor twirling shoes, as some classes may venture outdoors for additional instruction space.
Make sure your twirler brings their BATONS each day (at least 2 if Nov/Beg, and at least 4 if Int/Adv) as well as sweat towels, a notebook or phone/camera to write down/record any skills learned in their sessions, and any additional items your twirler may need during the day (i.e. medications, snack money, drinks, etc).
Day 1 - Match A Friend Day (Match a friend)
Day 2 - School Pride Day (Wear fav school gear)
Day 3 - Red, White & Blue Day (Wear fav Texas or USA themed gear or Twirl TEX shirt)
Parents can enter the facility from 4:00 to 4:15 pm on the last day of camp for a parent show off and camper award ceremony! More info will be sent out closer to camp about the show-off.
To ensure camper safety, COVID precautions may be followed if needed, including optional mask wearing, not sharing food/batons, and keeping instruction visual when possible.
Nationals Prep Sessions will be offered to help any students that are attend NBTA, USTA, MA, TU, or AAU Nationals. There will be training classes, routine practice, and cleaning sessions.
This summer we will be offering classes to help with those field twirling for their schools or performing on a stage for pageants. There will be sessions specific to providing content to be utilized for these performance purposes.
If your twirler is a part of a twirling line that is looking to get choreography for upcoming performances, or on a team competing at a 2024 National event, we can offer sessions for just their group to provide choreo or prep assistance.
